Library Project Of Google Competing With Amazon Prime?

Search engine giant Google is indeed already have Google Books as a service to the online library, but lately sounds more quickly that Google set up a Library Project to compete with the giant Bookstore, Amazon.

Google Books is probably the sebuaah non-profit project which facilitates people to find books like an online library, but who would have thought that Google Books this is just one way for Google to set up new business fields.
A source from the Authors Guild says that currently Google is making commercial projects i were using the code name "Library Project" to compete with the giant online retailer, Amazon.

"We want to search the web who are interested in the book content comes to Google, not Amazon," according to Google presentation in 2003.
As reported by from Venture Beat (06/08/2012), Authors Guild itself has been involved with the fierce fight Google dipengadilan since 2005. Authors Guild accuses Google through its Library Project is the first step to entering into commercial ventures such as online bookstore.

Google itself denies that the Library Project is now Google Books is an attempt towards a commercial business, for the purpose of this project is to help the academic circles or world education to find references or books.

"We believe Google Books is fair use by enabling users to identify interesting books and found a way to borrow or buy some books, like a card catalog for the digital age," said a Google spokesman.

According to the Authors Guild, Google had invested more than USD $ 180 million for the project Google Books so far. The internet giant has been doing a scan at 20 million book titles and nearly half of those books still in copyright.
